So I was at a restaurant who’s namesake is beer in a 36 inch glass waiting to put my name down for a table. An elderly lady, like at least 60, working food delivery was in front of me getting her order. The host told her that it was delayed and she would have to wait. Because of COVID nobody could wait in the lobby. She then went into the area between the lobby and the street to wait there. The host then told her she couldn’t wait in there either. Her options were to either wait outside or walk a block down an icy sidewalk to the nearest hotel lobby. I didn’t drive there myself or I would have offered to take her to the hotel to wait. I get that there are crazy new rules with COVID but this guy legitimately made an elderly lady stand outside in 20 degree weather while it was snowing.
