6 months ago I was finally able to leave the branch environment and step into fraud.
I'm still taking customers and our call volume is absolutely astronomical. I'm starting to feel micromanaged between monitoring our time between calls and how closely you stick to your schedule, like if you take a break outside of your scheduled 15 mins you get docked and on a report. I'm locked out of systems I need access too and keep requesting but no response. It frustrates me.
I love working in fraud but taking people on a constant flow is absolutely killing me and being able to move to another department requires another 6months of time or finishing my degree.
I've considered going part time somewhere or just quitting all together and finishing school but I'm trying to be realistic too (bills, insurance, etc). Or taking leave for my mental health but again getting paid.
I've brought up my concerns over and over with upper management and it gets dismissed (no other departments outside of customer service are taking calls anymore). I have 6 year experience in banking as a whole, I like what I do but I am just depleted.
I just needed to vent. if anyone has been in this position what advice they may have.
