My theater just started doing reserved seating, and working the box office for the first 2 days of it being an actual thing is awful. All I've heard has been
"Do we have to do this?"
"Can't we just pick inside?"
"This is such a waste of time"
And some of my favorites:
"This is confusing," and
"I'm never coming back here again."
I'm in a city of seniors, and they seem to be the ones who hate it the most. My coworker and I both think bringing this to our theater is a horrible idea because the seniors won't like it. I've had so many people get pissed off at me because I won't give them a ticket until they pick seats.
I've also had so many people get pissed off at me because they were meeting friends and they didn't know what seat they were in. Most of the time, they had cell phones, and their friends had cell phones, but they didn't use them to contact each other in regards to seating.
Is this just me and my coworkers that hate it so much or does anyone else?
