Years ago, I worked for Whoreminoes and Mountain Micks. Delivered pies and wings and encountered many'a experiences good and bad. Last night, I was craving pizza, almost ordered online at midnight but then I started thinking about how much I was annoyed by late night orders (especially orders that appeared right before closing). How I would steam at the thought of some jerk, forcing me to work when I should be closing up shop. Instead of breaking down the "make line", mopping and barely scrubbing the deep dish pans, I now have to make a pizza, throw it in the oven and travel across town and take a gamble on a tip. Yeah my attitude would be shitty or I might have been in a good mood that night but i Was always bothered by late night orders. I decided against it. I hope the guys (and gals) at Pizza Slut clocked out at a reasonable time and went home after a longs day work and rested.
