so in the 3 years working as a Delivery driver, i've never ran across a situation quite like this...

so, i took a delivery that was in the warmer to a hotel that's practically walking distance.

when i get there, the lady opens. i let her know that her order was $xx.xx.

she said her husband had gone to pay and pick it up, i'm like... what?

she's like, yea, he already went to pay and pick it up.. and i'm like.. but the pizza's right here...

so, i went ahead and called the store to veryify and perhaps make some sense of all this.

my manager was like.. yea, they payed, it's all good blah blah..

so i shrugged, feeling like my brain was fizzling..

it's like.. why pay for delivery when you were gonna go to the store to pay for it anyways.. lmao....

idk, it made no sense to me at all.
