So, last night, the GM of our Pizzahut had scheduled a CSR to come in to work the Dine ins and front counter. Well, what she failed to realize is that this CSR had told her he could not work Tuesdays due to school.. and so the fun begins..

We had no one to handle the front, all we had as a crew was Production (1 member), a Manager working cut table (only joined 2 weeks ago), and 2 delivery drivers (me being one of them) and we were out on delivery the entire night, so essentially, we only had 2 people actually running the store for the most part.

Today, is the only day in 3 years that i've been working at Pizzahut, where the manager declared we would not take any Dine ins. I want to say about 85% of calls were ignored because we simply didn't have enough people to run the store efficiently.

I was on a Quad run, and one of the ladies that ordered decided to bitch about her food, saying "Let me check to see if it's cold," clearly it was not, I could feel the heat coming from the box, and I told her "I promise you it's not cold" yet all she could think to say was "Well it's not hot either, so i'm calling the store about it"

I explained our situation and told her not to waste her time, She said she would get through eventually (Completely ignoring what I said). I laughed a little on the inside, I hope she spent the next 3 hours trying to get through, she never got through.

Surprisingly, we at least managed not to burn the place down, nor have anyone want to crucify us, which is good I guess, but damn, what a night.. XD
