What is the most unique place you've had to deliver to?

This just happened yesterday

My store is about 5 minutes from the Mississippi river so we deliver to quite a few industrial docks. But my delivery yesterday takes the cake as one of the most unique. I had to deliver to a barge sitting in port. Which isn't too weird, but they had a special request.

Due to it being a long walk otherwise, they requested that I actually drive my car ON TO the barge. I had to take my car and cross this really rickety bridge (kinda like this) and park on the deck. If this doesn't sound abursd yet, imaige something like THIS with a little nissan versa with a "Dominos pizza" sign on top of it.

On top of that I think I've mastered pizza balancing at this point as I had to walk up a grate stairwell (you could see the water below through the stairs) as the boat swayed and the wind desperately tried to donate my hat to the water gods.

The funnier part of it was the few workers on the barge who would make a double "why the fuck is a pizza guy on the barge" take when they saw me.
