Gig workers replacing traditional big 3 delivery drivers?
Post Body
I used to work as a delivery driver for one of the big 3 in the mid 2010s. I've noticed the last few times I've gotten delivery (by ordering from the official store) that it was delivered by a doordash driver. Also last time I got carryout the lobby was full of doordash drivers waiting on an order.
have the bigger chains started supplementing/completely phasing out traditional delivery drivers in favor of gig workers?
