creepy front desk calls

Post Body

Iā€™m a 21yo female who works night audit (great idea right) and just about 15 minutes ago I got a pretty creepy call. Less of what the guy was saying, and more the cadence and tone of his voice, but I recognized it. He called once before a couple weeks ago claiming to want to book a room for him and his daughter. He kept asking if she would like the things he was going to give her. For example he was like ā€œI wanted to put rose petals all over the room and bed, do you think thatā€™s too much?ā€ or how he wanted to order her champagne etc etc.. The questions were endless and pointless, but god his voice was creepy. And of course he didnā€™t book anything, was probably never planning to. Eventually I got out of the phone call throughly freaked out, but luckily that night I was training a newbie so I wasnā€™t too scared. Anyway he called again tonight claiming to be a male stripper and asking random questions like if we were throwing a surprise party or some shit. I shut the conversation down pretty quickly but didnā€™t drop my customer service demeanor. It doesnā€™t feel like a prank call, I have a feeling itā€™s one of those freaks who jerks off over the phone but itā€™s so violating. Iā€™m alone tonight and of course the past two weeks our parking lot and building cameras have been out so that extra layer of protection being gone is frighting as well. I know itā€™s probably nothing except a weirdo at home, but I canā€™t shake the creepiness. In the moment I wish I could quit and go home.
