Just a horror show from the minute i set foot on the property. Had to wait 10 min plus to check in because desk was not staffed. Got to room and couldent get AC to work, went downstairs to change waited again but not as long got new room AC works im good. Look in bathroom and soap still in soapdish. Maybe its a new piece nope its used ugh! Not changing again its after 11pm and im tired so i go to sleep. I bring up in the morning. Next morning i close the door but forget a mask inside and try and open the door key wont work. I head downstairs no one at desk at 6:30am wait 5 min get breakfast still no one so i decide i can get key remade on my way back in in the evening i return at 5 and someone is at the desk she is a trainee, i ask for new key, her trainer says what room so i tell her and she says â dont bother making the key, the lock to that room needs new batteriesâ. Ok so how do i get in i ask. Well i have to go to walmart and get batteries she says. I ask if you knew lock didnt work, wouldnt it have been a good idea to do this before i returned? I get the blank stare of someone who is just overwhelmed and calloused. I now wait a surprisingly short time for her to return. The batteries get changed and im in my room again. I notice shower didnt drain i call front desk and someone someone will be right up. I move shower curtain to give maintenance better access and there is a hairball the size of a mouse on the top edge of the tub. I took a picture. Two girls show up and i ask housekeeping one to remove mouse while using the draino. She flushed it away after removing it with her bare hands and touching toilet/ shower controls. Ugh! I now know they are just understaffed and ask them to leave draino and i will return it after i make sure drain works. The supervisor says no call down ans she will return. Its not working i call down and wait 1 hour goes by call again another hr. I want to crash and relax so i head downstairs and find supervisor and ask her to please just let me take care of it and to let me help her out. She reluctantly agrees. 20 min later drain isworking fine. My MIL jokes that i should bill yâall for plumbing fee. One other pet peeve, i cannot stand when cleaning services simply puts a un opened trashbag on the side of the trash can and leaves it to a guest to install. You dont just leave bedding sittng on the bed you put it on. I consider checking out but i had already stayed one night into the second so i was already â exposedâ . During my stay i realized that this location is used by cancer patients and families from a nearby treatment center. While I initially thought the staff was a bunch of slackers, i came to realize they are just overwhelmed and desensitized to the situation and were actually busting their tails. Management or/ the pandemic has put lots of people in no win situations. Hang in there yâall!
