So, I've worked at the same hotel the last 4 years now. Every time I encounter these people it just absolutely baffles me. Every other day here I meet people who don't know what incidentals are. I tell them when I prompt the screen your total will pop up with the extra 30 dollar incidental hold and every time they ask me, WHATS AN INCIDENTAL? I WONT BE NEEDING AN INCIDENTAL OR some will just flat out say no. And even worse is when they say I've never had to do incidentals at any other hotel . In what universe does one not have to do any incidentals at any hotel ever in the history of hotels? Just doesn't make sense to me. Has anyone else run into this?
