Post Body

So, it's been awhile since I've posted and I have changed hotel brands since then.

With all the crazy stuff going on the last few weeks(theft, breaking, fraud), I pretty much come into work assuming a disaster. I'm the FOM, and usually find myself working the PM shift so I get to handle most of the check-ins. We closed our top two floors because we don't have enough business, so we have had a lot of complaints and also a lot of people sneaking up to sleep in the halls.

It's Wednesday and I came in expecting a horror story from finally getting a day off. Instead, I get a call about a vip coming in. I wasn't expecting much as we have had vips before and normally they are in and out or very needy. There is never any in between.

However, when he finally showed up towards the end of my shift, I was in awe by how kind he was. It was such a breath of fresh air. Plus, he likes animals. Here's hoping his stay is so great we can get his business if he ever comes through again. Probably not since he's the ceo of a huuuuge company. But, it was nice to have someone so chill. He even came down and bought some waters. He didn't even ask if he could have them, he wanted to pay for them. I wish all our vips could be like this.
