Hey everybody, I’m a front desk/concierge at a relatively large hotel and I had a question for my fellow front desk people. My question is this: do any of ya’ll ever get stupid reviews that critique something you can’t do anything about? For me, it was one guest who gave us a 5/10 because they had no cell service on the 1st floor. We actually offered this guest an upgrade on the top floor, but he refused and stormed off. Now, the bad reviews wouldn’t bother me if they didn’t directly effect not only my bonus for the month, but every single individual that works at the hotel and for me, my bonuses make up a great majority of my paycheck. Has anyone ever had problems like this before, or deal with a situation like this? I’d feel better if it wasn’t just me who dealt with bullshit like this.
