Post Body

long story short I have been working at my current property for a year and some change now. I was a transfer from another one across state and I feel like I should be a supervisor at this point. A few months ago our supervisor for my shift quit with no notice. Instead of promoting me they hired outside and took someone from another hotel that we also own and placed them into the position. This would not be a problem of course if this person would actually DO THEIR JOB. I am just a desk agent and I have been doing my duties and this persons duties as well and they are being paid more than I am and they literally DO NOTHING on their shift. They don't even handle guest complaints or service recovery. This person always passes off guest complaints to the am management crew. I want to know why this person still has this position tbh -_- The only thing I do not do is handle service recovery and that's only because I am not in a position of authority to do that. I have talked to management about this person and how they make me do all the work and stand around and just play games on the computer their whole shift but nothing has been done about it. I thought about leaving but I can't find another job I have been looking for a month now. -_- im just over it
