Post Body

First time poster, mostly lurk. BUT tonight I got to tell a former boss, coworker, and ex relative by marriage no tonight and it was glorious.

10 plus years ago I used to work in a payroll department for a big staffing agency. I was there for over 6 years. The district manager of the area I worked with is the cousin of my ex husband. She always acted better than every one else, at work and at family functions. She didn't acknowledge at work we were related and was mostly rude to me at all times.

WELL there are a handful of rooms this week for said company and she happens to be one of them. She either doesn't recognize me at all (I have lost over 100 lbs since my divorce) OR she is being her normal rude self. BUT the group wanted alcohol. It was 11:10pm and we quit selling at 11pm. NOW I could make an exception BUT it's totally up to me. As long as it's not after 2am. I know it's petty but I told the group no. OMG you would have thought I was killing them. LOL

BUT it kinda felt good.
