So today I was originally supposed to work 12-12, long shift, but no big deal. I write down my schedule Monday, and move on with my week. Friday, I am looking at the schedule to call someone in, to cover for a sick coworker. I notice my Sunday has been changed to 4-12. That cuts my hours. So I call the boss and ask him about it, and he just says, "I have the new girl coming in, so we don't need you at noon."
Guess who sends me a text asking me to come in early this morning? Yup. My boss. I told him he should have either left me for noon, or asked/let me know he changed my schedule, and I will be there at 4, because I schedule my life around my time off. And today? I want to play my video games and goof off til I come in. So that is what I intend to do.
I mean seriously, how pissed would you be if you drove all the way to work, and had to turn around and go home? Or you show up when it says, and find out you are late because they changed it? I am not putting up with that shit. From now on I am taking pictures of the schedule.
