So i work a delightful fast food sandwich chain. you know, our spokes person is in prison. i am closing on my own and at a round 6pm i have two customers in my store. a man walks in with a cup and refills it and talks to the customers for a few minutes. as he leaves i talk to him me: sir, you need to pay for the drink DG(drink guy): no, i bough a sandwich 20 min ago me: (internally) no you didn't I've been here for a hour and never saw you buy anything) what i really said: once you leave the store you no longer get free refills Him: What?!?! you're really going to make me pay for it??? its just a drink! Me: sir you need to pay for it, your total is $2.40 Customer starts to walk out with the drink me: sir you need to leave the drink here Him: I'm just getting money to pay me: you need to leave the drink here he then comes back and pays, grumbling the whole time. do people just not get common sense. if you buy a drink you don't get to come get a refill a hour later
