I'm traveling to Taiwan for the first time in May. Lots of friends recommended taking a day trip to Jiufen.
Is there a lot to do in Jiufen? What is the best way to get from Taipei to Jiufen? I was thinking of taking a taxi directly from Taipei to Jiufen or train from Taipei main station to Keelung and cab from Keelung to Jiufen.
