Tv randomly turns on (kinda)

My Polaroid 50’ randomly (usually at night, happened 10 mins ago at time of posting) flashes the red status light and provides power to the USB ports to which I have LEDs plugged into so they switch on, however the tv screen itself doesn’t switch on or change shade of black(?). Does anybody know why this happens?
