So a month after my warranty expired my UN55NU7100 backlight stopped working on half the screen, I read the troubleshooting online opened it up and and tested the boards by unplugging and plugging to find still half backlight not working, opened up the rest to get to the LED strips and one was burned like actually brown so I ordered it and replaced the LED strip and put it together plugged the power board and backlight fully works, then plugged the main board on to find that backlight turns off when its plugged in. (backlight turns back on when you unplug main board) This model doesn't have a tcon board, it is built directly onto the main board. So now im wondering how the main board could have just stopped working when it was fine before. Any advice before I order a main board on eBay. Thanks
