Need a little advise before I order new card 60" Sharp
Post Body

I got a sharp aquos 60" for free...the house it was in got struck by lighting..it didn't turn on and no standby light...so I opened it up...didn't see anything physically wrong with the power board...so I looked at the video board (not sure if I am getting terminology right) and there was a burnt spot..... https://imgur.com/gallery/ygWAlrH

I put my multimeter to the port that comes from the power board and I am pretty sure I am getting power....so I am guessing it's the video board? Would think it would be more than that since it wouldn't come on at all?

Is there anything I need to check before i order a new board?

I am pretty handy but this will be my first flat screen to fix
