Hey there -
I picked up an older 50 or so inch Samsung for free this evening.
It's gone one issue, picured here: https://imgur.com/a/Ry4zQYE
Here's a description (pics don't show it too well): - The left half of the screen is darkened. - It comes and goes depending on the position of the TV (and at random). - The top 5th of the screen appears independently darkened - If I push the top left half back it fixes the problem (at least temporarily). - The girl I got it from suggested this problem goes away permanently after half an hour in the top corner, and completely after a while longer. My experience so far suggests the problem just stays. - This problem began after it was dropped.
If anyone has any insights, DIY guides, or some estimate for repair pricing lmk! Your expertise is appreciated.
