Where to start with DIY repair on Panasonic tc-P50S60 50" Plasma?
Post Body

I was watching my tv and all of a sudden it turned off. It is only a 2013 and I have not had any problems with it prior to this. There was no power surge or anything of the sort.

There is a red led light at the front that blinks 3 times. I tried to look up what this means but it was inconclusive for my particular model. I have tried various hard reset methods such as: leaving it unplug for several hours, unplugging and holding the power button for 60 seconds, holding power and volume buttons while plugged an unplugged. Nothing helps. I don't hear any sounds or clicks or anything when trying to turn it off.

I paid $300 for the TV used and I know that a professional repair will not be worth it, so before I kick the thing to the curb I'd like to try fixing it myself.

Does anyone have any recommendations, or resources where I can start? I have no experience. I have soldered wires together before, but nothing like soldering on a board or capacitors. Thanks!
