So my OBGYN would put me on clomid and went all the way up to 150mg which they say is the max dose and I didn't ovulate in any of the cycles. They said the next step is an RE however my insurance doesn't cover any fertility healthcare at all and I can't afford an RE. In the past I lost 75 lbs on low carb/keto and my periods returned and I had confirmed ovulation through ultrasound, we were not trying at that point. I've gained 50 of those pounds back after a thyroidectomy and covid depression. So I think my most realistic option is doing it again however this time I want to make a few modifications, one would be allowing for a whole grain complex carb once a week to make it more sustainable for me. The other would be allowing for some of the technically higher carb vegetables (not potatoes) like beans, legumes, and squashes. My other goal would be to be less lazy with things like fast food options being far more seldom to maintain my cholesterol levels. This news all came yesterday after I went grocery shopping with full carb options so I may start slow this week, going down to one carb option a day.
