Clomid Round 1

I started Clomid on cycle day 5. Had very minimal side effects thankfully. I’ve been using the Premom LH strips and the clear blue. Since Monday the Clearblue has been flashing a smile, and I’m increasing about .5 a day on the LH strips. Does Clomid cause later ovulation? When I have ovulated it’s been usually around day 16-18. The past 3 months I have not ovulated confirmed by blood work. I also had 2 periods last month spaced 12 days apart.
