I was diagnosed with PCOS last summer. My husband and I have had unprotected sex for the whole 6 years we’ve known each other. I haven’t ovulated on my own since high school, even with weight loss a few years ago. My OB made the immediate comment about my weight, which I understand and she was super gentile about it. She didn’t want to put me on Clomid/letrozole until I see her again in February, and even then she didn’t really say I would start it, just said we would revisit the conversation. But I am overall very healthy, no other health issues and my blood work is always perfect. I want to go to a RE soon but I’m nervous about my weight. I am 240lbs and 5’ 4. I don’t want them to push me off until I lose weight. I have completely changed my diet and am eating way less than I was (I’m on metformin) but still not losing weight. Sorry this is all over the place, just trying to get some peace of mind 🤍
