I was on the bus earlier and on 2 separate occasions on the same ride the driver thought it was best to endanger people’s life’s.

The first time was at the station before the bus left where he gets in the bus and starts talking (loudly) to someone (I’m guessing he knows them) who’s in the middle of the bus. Their conversation? Politics. He starts going on about how Canada is a 3rd world country now because it’s going downhill blah blah. Doesn’t matter if you agree or not it’s not the time and place. This sets off a passenger and he starts loudly telling him to shut up and asking him why he’s the in the country then. When this guy left (much later) he banged the back door before muttering something and leaving.

The second time was near the end of the trip when 2 adolescents got in the bus without paying. The drivers amazing idea? Start questioning them and to instigate the situation. He starts talking about how it’s not a free ride and decide to stop the bus and loudly yell at them to pay. They’re at the back of the bus (near me) and he starts an argument. I walked to the front of the bus ask for him to open the door so I can leave. He starts arguing with me asking me where I wanted to initially get off and keeps driving. I pressed the stop and asked him to let me off and he STILL keeps arguing until I read out his OP ID and asked him to just let me off and I told him it’s not his job to enforce the fair and that he’s putting everyones life at risk.

I’m wondering if I’m able to directly get a hold of someone because I’m not going to be content just submitting a report on the SafeTTC app. This driver wants to power-trip and act like he’s in charge of the entire TTC. Talking about a controversial topic is one thing. Stopping the bus and yelling at 2 people who are clearly not going to cooperate in paying is another thing. Not to mention the fact that he kept driving when I asked him to let me off.
