Presto in Apple Wallet

Does anyone know when the hell we will be able to add Presto to Apple Wallet? It can be added to Google Wallet but not Apple Wallet. Why is Apple Wallet so late to the game? I bought a new Presto Card a while back and the cheap piece of 💩 stopped working within a few days. Apparently it had bent slightly in the corner but I kept it in my wallet. I had no problems with any of my other cards.
