I started testosterone cypionate 6 weeks ago tomorrow. It's 50 mg/ml and I am supposed to inject 0.4ml once a week, so I think that's 20mg each time.
Since starting, I have experienced increased brain fog, very low energy, low mood, and really nothing positive. I was hoping for increased energy, a boost in mood and libido, and maybe some reduction in belly fat. Instead I'm finding myself sleeping all the time and feeling depressed and sluggish. At start, my total testosterone level was 13, and I am due to re-test next week.
Am I taking too much? Should I reduce the dose I give myself tomorrow? Split the 20mg into twice weekly injections? Do I need to be more patient to see the positive effects?

A typical insulin syringe with 10 sub divisions is 1 mL. The 5 mark means 0.5. The mark below that would be 0.4. Not 0.04. Typically each numbered subdivision is then divided into 5 smaller ticks at 0.02 each. So 0.04 would be the second small line on the syringe and would appear minuscule. If she is pinning slightly less than half of the syringe, it is 0.4mL.
