switching from injections to cream?

the pharmacy we use no longer provides injectable Test at the dose I need, and it is very difficult to properly draw such a low dose from the 200mg/ml bottles even with the 1ml syringe. My Dr is recommending I switch to cream and apply it daily. Has anyone had success with the cream? how does it compare to my weekly injections?
