Looking at backtests makes me angry
Post Body

I learned way too late about TQQQ and then started doing some Portfolio Visualizer back-tests.

I see that 10k invested in March of 2010 would be over $1mil today (high of 1.7mil in 2022) Now I'm "sad/mad" for missing the boat.

So, here I am, 36 years old, fomo like crazy. TQQQ is near ATH's - I was hoping people from this sub could instill a sense of confidence in me?

Am I crazy to allocate 5% of my IRA money into TQQQ right now?

********

I realize no one has a crystal ball, and I'm not looking for perfect predictions. I guess just a thesis that says "it likely will go up" or "it likely will be choppy" or "you missed it and now we're laughing at you from inside our lambos" - like what are your thoughts on TQQQ over the next 10ish years?
