Recently upgraded to AT&T fiber and received the BGW320-500 (not the 505) and of course, port forwarding is a no go. Procured a ER605 and proceeded to use various youtube videos to connect ( i.e. SPX Labs) my router to the gateway.
However, I still am having issues with port forwarding.
My network: Att Fiber -> BGW320-500 -> ER605
On the gateway, I've got IP Passthrough going to the router's MAC addr. Then on the router, I have setup a virtual server. On my computer, I've turned off the software firewall and attempted to check if the port I opened was opened using https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and nothing.
Is there a drop dead simply walk through with this configuration?
Prior to starting all this, I did a factory reset on my Gateway and I even updated the router's firmware to the latest version. Everything is connected via ethernet.
