Before I say my piece, I want to express my gratitude to Scott for all he did for the company and will he will always be a legend for it.
I want to address the delusions of some people regarding Scott’s firing. People online have painted Scott as though he’s the ONLY PERSON responsible for TNA’s growth and success.
Gail Kim is responsible for the management of the KOs division. Lance Storm is responsible for the quality of matches on TV and PPVs. Matt Cardona and Brian Myers are responsible for TNA getting action figures. The wrestlers are responsible for the execution of the wrestling and storylines that all of us are compelled to. And as much as I hate to say it, Anthem is responsible for TNA still existing to this day.
But somehow people have seriously deluded themselves. They’ve gone as far as to boycotting TNA unless Anthem rehires Scott, which is so unfair to the people who are still with the company.
Paul Heyman once said in an interview with Inside the Ropes that, 'if a company revolves around one person being involved, WE’RE SCREWED. If it doesn’t move forward, then everything we built means NOTHING'.
Everything Scott did was for TNA, not himself. In his promo after the Will Ospreay v Josh Alexander match, he said 'If I drop dead tonight, I’m happy because TNA is back!’
So members of the Impact Zone, let’s continue supporting TNA not just for him, but for everyone who was influenced and is still involved because of him.
Oh you cooking
