Guys, do you think that the show has sugarcoated the nature of Jetha and Babita's relationship? Tbh i feel Jetha behaves very much like a predator. in the initial episodes especially he is shown like a pura tharki who is always eager to grab a glimpse of Babita. In the actual column on which the show is based (duniya ne oondha chashma) Jetha is shown to be a pura tharki and a wife beater and Babita is shown fighting against men including Jethalal whom she insults whenever she finds a chance. In the show however it feels like Babita has no option but to submit to Jethalal's advances. Just imagine uncles staring aunties from balconies. Creepy right? Also like Iyer is shown in a negative light as if he doesn't deserve his own wife. the show is biased in favor of Jethalal, he has a free license to flutter around Babita all the time and still is shown as the ideal husband son and father. and what a pity. Daya has no knowledge about his whole thing for Babita. this is double standard. and very problematic.
