Ear plugs too big now, causing pain? Recommendations?

Post Body

I was at my TMJ specialist yesterday, and I let him know that when I wear my Eargasm earplugs for noise/decibel reduction (concert wear, and often for restful sleep) I now have sharp pain on my "bad side". It's as if my canal has changed size or shape. Custom ones seem silly, especially now that I know it/things can change over time. I've had to wear foam ones lately, and they're ok, but not as easy to justify (cost for a lot of pairs, sanitation, annoying to finagle them in). The Eargasm ones last me years and years, can be sprayed with alcohol, and don't warp. They have a small-ear set I might try before I fully ditch my brand loyalty.

Do you wear any? What do you like? Do you have affected canal shape or size from irritation/inflammation or movement in the jaw as you've progressed in your TMJ treatment?

Any help is welcome!
