Summer of 2022 I went to a chiropractor adjustment for my ON and after he cracked my neck I immediately had a lot of ear ringing. The following days I became unable to walk and spent 6 months unable to walk. CTscan came back with degen disc disease. Physiotherapist got me able to stand up without falling over. But I have recurring symptons.
My face muscles are falling down into my neck, forming a ball just under my mandible, around the area the stylomandibular ligament is. The muscle mass around my mandible is gone and it's just a bone there.
IS THIS NORMAL WITH TMD?!
It is more pre-dominant on my right side, but is also causing me difficulty on the left side now. The pain on the left side only started to get really bad after I mentioned the ligament to my Physiotherapist and she did some poking around.
Just wondering what people's experiences are with Ernest Syndrome? Can a TMJ specialist help diagnose this?
I had 2 bottom molars removed a few weeks ago and I've been in a complete mess ever since. Opening Jaw is causing a tearing in the TMJ area, all face and neck muscles are tight. My last 2 years has been crisis after crisis, divorced, unable to work, mental health gone terrible, confused, frustrated, broke, single dad to 2 children under 5. Before the chiro appointment all I had was ON.
