I believe there is no advantage to console gaming over PC gaming, TMBR

PC Gaming is cheaper both in the short and long terms than console, due to consoles being overpriced for the performance they give, not having to pay for online functionality and cheaper games.

PC gaming also has a larger library of exclusive titles than Xbone or PS4.

There is larger backwards compatibility on PC, due to compatibility mode and programs such as DOSBox that allow you to play older PC games. You can also play older console games with the aid of emulators such as Dolphin, SNES9X or PCSX2. Emulators for Playstation 3 (RPCS3) and Wii U (Cemu) are also in development.
