I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder and coming from a person who actually has a real diagnosis, it infuriates me to see her mentioning it so casual like its a "cool" thing. I think the "trend" part is because people use it jokingly. Which leaves people who are diagnosed to really suffer more.
You don't know how much this has seriously affected my life. Its embarrassing as well. Only a certain few know (and you guys now) about it. People automatically see you in a different light and judge you. It's definitely not a "cool" thing and she's ruining the stigma that affects people who are diagnosed. I swear. Mental illnesses are not cool and should not be a trend. Its like a life sentence of pure hell for the rest of your life.
