I keep in hearing that the current TJ Policia situation is out of control, where they are looking to shake down Americans. I have been to TJ numerous times for overnight stays with a lot of cash in my pocket and have never had any issues. I am planning on going to La Zona in December, arriving on a weekend night with a lot of cash in my pocket as I would be staying two nights. I always take a taxi if not the shuttle to zona. Would it be best to postpone until after the holidays? I would hate if these punks take my money as that would just ruin my perspective on going back to zona. I ain’t a gringo, I am Mexican American and speak fluent Spanish if this even plays a factor.
