I read these posts for long enough and TJ is only about a 2-3 hour drive so I decided to make a trip to check it out. My only impression was that HK was on the decline and girls/waiters were pushy for fechas/arribas.

I didn’t do it the right way. I got to HK around 7pm and left at 3am and stayed just north of the border in a hotel. I had a great time and obviously should have stayed overnight in TJ, but have a few questions.

1) What is it like to stay in Cascades? I went to the first floor for fun, but I was in a room right behind the front desk for 30 minutes. How is it to stay there for a few nights? Is it clean? Lots of noise?

2) The girls were great and their overall attitude was awesome. Same with the waiters. Why do people go to VIP in the club when you can go to a room in the hotel for $40? Did I miss something in VIP? I saw guys going up there.

3) What is the situation coming back into the US? There was a two hour line and people kept asking me for $10 to show me the “shortcut” but I was nervous where they might lead me. Is there a shortcut back in so you aren’t standing in line for 2 hours?

I know I look like an amateur with the stupid questions, but it was my first time. I appreciate the guidance from the vets.
