My college age son finally had a confession. I knew he went to HK in the past because the wife found a VIP card from doing his laundry. But this time him and a couple of college buddies went together for a bachelors party. I don’t know what exact took place but they somehow tried to order a lady from online and she was a no show. I asked them why would they do something so stupid especially you are already in Cascada Hotel which is above HK. They said they want to venture out which was so dumb! My son and his buddies were out $100 which they were fine with. Two days went by, and and for some reason, he has been getting threat messages from the cartels down there saying they are looking for him. They said he wasted their time and lost money. But the girl never showed and they paid $100 in advance. Now the cartels sent my son our address and threaten to kill everyone if my son and his buddies don’t keep on paying up. So far between my son and his buddies, they had paid close to 15k for the 12 of them. And this has been going for a month. My son and his buddies are broke students and they are scared shitless. My wife and I are planning to file a police report but my son and his buddies are too scared. They said the cartels will know. I’m just wondering anyone know how to deal with this or been in a similar situation?
