Omg this episode scared the heck out of me. Hearing her story was so visceral. Thoughts?
This reminded me of old school TIAH episodes. One central life changing event. I loved hearing about the strength she gained from going through it. I was also relieved that it was someone she knew…I know that’s messed up, but it’s scarier to think what if it was someone she didn’t know and this was some random attack by a stranger because that means it could really happen to anyone. (I know sexual assault and rape still could happen to anyone randomly).
I’m not super crazy about how every guest has something to advertise—a book or podcast—but I guess that’s just part of it now. They may as well profit from the pain.
