Masters in TESOL vs. Certificate Training
Post Body

Hi all,

I'm embarking down a path of wanting to teach English as a way to live in different countries and in my research I see a lot of certificate programs which would work with private schools in a lot of Eastern countries. What I'm also seeing is that in order to teach in Europe it looks like they would prefer you to have a Master's degree. I don't want to waste my time on a certificate that wouldn't get me a job internationally, so I'm leaning towards getting a Master's degree since I qualify. I'd love to hear other people's opinions and stories when it comes to this matter.

Thank you in advance.
