Hello!
I'm considering going to Thailand and would love to hear about your experiences.
I'm thinking of going in February / March 2023 on a tourist visa first and checking out places and applying on the ground instead of from overseas. Is this a good plan and a good time to go there to jobhunt?
Which cities would you recommend?
Are international schools better to work for than language academies? Or something else?
I read on the Thailand Wiki that non-natives also need to take an IELTS / TOEFL test. Is this still applicable in 2022?
Background: non-native from a country where English is an official language, CELTA, M.A. in Eng Lit (U.K.), TAPIF
Thanks for your help! 🥂
