I considered posting on the online TEFL sub too but I wanted to ask here first. For those teachers received their certificate and that taught EFL abroad and also via online teaching from home, what was your experience like?

I'm able to to earn my TEFL and I'm on the cusp of deciding what to do. I really want to teach and I know the current situation in the world is still messed up

Although not too specific, I wanted to teach somewhere in east or sw east Asia, given the opportunity (though I don't know how likely that is now).

But I'm also open to teaching online (though I would probably have to move to a cheaper part of my country to do that).

But I wanted to ask people that have been there and what their experience was first here while I'm still doing research on what my options are.
