I got offered a position in Cairo Egypt (more specifically Maadi ) and I am super nervous. One being that I have not taught in a classroom capacity in about 2/3 years (I have been doing a lot of online work and non-educational jobs), so I worry I won't be able to handle the class or will not live up to the expectation. Another is The guy who hired me stressed a lot that Egypt is a third world country and there are a ton of things that greatly differ from a place like the US. Which I do not mind, but for anyone who has worked in the country or in the Middle East, have you seen any major changes or ways of life that you had to change (like clothing or anything like that). Also I know this might sound stupid but is the country safe politically and generally too? I know googling it will end in a rabbit hole, but I just worry.
