hello all; this is my first time in this thread!

in the month of may, i will be graduating college with a degree in secondary education with an emphasis in mathematics. i’m currently student teaching right now.

as of now, i absolutely love it. teaching is awesome for me. however, i always told myself that; i want to have the opportunity to teach abroad. i feel it’ll be the best time for me as of now in this stage of my life, i’ll be done with school, single, young & have no child.

i want to do it now before anything can happen. anyways, i’m going to need a lot of help. i have a few questions!!

did all of you guys who are teaching abroad, did you pick & choose on where you wanna go? are you teaching in the country you sought out to? for example, my ideal country to end up in would be spain.

do you need a TEFL certification? & if so, what’s the most efficient way on getting one?

last question, are there contracts? how long are they & when do the run-run?
