How to make new friends in Syracuse?

I am in my early 30s and male. I tried the Meetup app, and the Meetup group and it seems like the 20s/30s group here does Trivia on Thursdays and that doesnt work for my schedule. I am a little too old for the bar scene...its just not really me. I have tried Bumble BFF and let's just say I found it to be not really effective. I enjoy waterfalls, hiking, photography, movies, stand-up comedy and the casino. Problem is doing these alone is getting old afterawhile. Any recommendations on how to make new friends in Syracuse? Most of my friends are married (with or without kids) and/or moved out of the area. TIA!
