Reasonably priced coffee?

Looking for decent quality whole bean that won't cost me an arm and a leg. I tried salt city coffee and enjoyed it but it's a bit spendy. Is there somewhere locally that has a variety that's in the $8-14 range for a 12oz bag? Am I missing something?
Right now I'm ordering from small companies online but I'd love to be able to grab something if I run out.
