A discussion about why the 7 inch versions of songs are great
Post Body

This one song I'm referencing I just plain ol love. I think I heard one specific iteration of it instead of the original. Then I heard the original and it was great. I started exploring other versions of it. This 7 inch version starts a bit more dramatic...It gives a Looney Tunes, that's all folks, Hannah Barbara vibe before starting into the song. Each version of this song has it's own flavor and nuance to it. But this one is just an additional quirk to an already weird song which I love.

Not sure about the rest of you, but I often feel that if the songs have either an extended version that put's it in the 7-11 minute length range, or it has a 7 inch version of it that it's infinitely better than the orignal 9 times out of 10. Back in the 80s something magical happened when they just tweaked the already solid foundational song in this manner.

Referencing the link to the song in particular, Cccan't You See (7" Version). Even the artwork for the single is so cool. Vicious Pink has a style and taste about them that is just totally rad.
